Okay, so the Tony Awards aren’t actually happening until June, but The Advocate posted a list of their favourite Tony performances earlier this week, and I was inspired to share a few I would’ve put on the list. If this is up your alley you might want to check out the Feminist Guide to Broadway Musicals post I did just over a year ago. I’m not sharing the performance from The Color Purple today because the video was already part of that post.
First one they did include which I loved. Here’s Bea Arthur and Angela Lansbury singing “Bosom Buddies” from Mame:
