Feminism F.A.Q.s is a series of short videos by Gender Focus editor Jarrah Hodge, designed to answer questions and tackle common myths about feminism. They’re aimed at people who are open-minded and respectful but may be hesitant to call themselves feminism because of negative stereotypes. They’re also designed as a resource for other bloggers and activists to have a fast and effective way of dealing with these types of F.A.Q.s.
Because the videos are designed to be less than 2:30 in order to be accessible, they generalize and will inevitably leave some things out. In some cases there may be feminists who disagree with my interpretations. I hope is that the videos will prompt even more questions and engage feminists and potential future feminists in respectful dialogue.
Most videos below are linked to accompanying posts that also include transcripts, observations, and sources.
